Description
This course examines what individuals in organizations need to know and do to ensure the success of new international ventures. Careful analysis and planning are necessary to choose the most effective market entry strategy for a new venture. The chosen strategy must be successfully implemented and managed, which includes demonstrating cultural competence and complying with applicable local and international laws. This course will be delivered in a condensed 2 day workshop format followed by a 30-day self-study period to prepare for the online FITT assessment.
Credit Related Information:
Completion of International Market Entry Strategies provides credit toward the FITT Diploma in International Trade or FITT Certificate in International Trade (a total of 3 of 6 courses are required). Earning the FITT Diploma demonstrates advanced knowledge and applied competencies in international business. It is also a key step in attaining the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP庐|FIBP庐) designation, a prestigious industry credential recognized by employers worldwide. Credit Structure: Each FITTskills course-including International Market Entry Strategies -can be taken individually and counts as one credit toward the FITT Diploma in International Trade (a total of 6 courses are required). Assessment: Participants may complete an optional FITTskills assessment following the course to earn a formal credit. Recognition: The CITP庐|FIBP庐 designation, awarded by FITT, is endorsed by Global Affairs Canada and recognized by trade organizations and employers internationally as a standard of excellence in global business.
